About this Project
The site was previously a disused petrol station and the current proposal is to construct a 100 bedroom hotel with cafe and retail at ground floor and a roof top bar with Cathedral views. The site is located in a prominent position in Rochester, opposite the train station and on Corporation Street – the main ring road that circles Rochester’s city centre. The hotel is a modern, elegant interior design whilst externally textured concrete panels are used for the noise absorption levels coupled with the angled window.
Spider Projects have been working with the Client and design team to prepare cost modelling of the both the construction and the interior fit out. We have been involved with the procurement strategy discussions and there is a proposed Contractor for the projects. The cost estimating has been prepared using the architectural and structural design information.
